This piece was constructed on a copper loom, wrapped in soft cotton, blending industrial structure with tactile warmth. The interior is woven with a rich mix of cotton and wool fibers, creating depth and texture. A variety of knotting and weaving techniques are used throughout, including the hitch knot, a tabby weave, abstract twisted knots, and the traditional Turkish ghiordes knot. Vertical lines formed by knots add movement and structure, drawing the eye towards the base of the work.
