This playful, shaggy petal piece is handmade on a copper loom wrapped in soft off-white cotton. At its center, a wood embroidery hoop – also wrapped in cotton – frames the design. The weaving begins with hitch knots, flows into ghiordes knots across the petals, returns to hitch knots, and finishes with a lush fringe of shaggy ghiordes knots.
