This large piece is constructed from copper wrapped in taupe-colored wool. The central eye opening is made in the same way. The piece begins with a tabby weave at the center, transitioning into hitch knots. As I worked outward, I alternated between tabby weave and hitch know in an abstract rhythm. The petals feature several shades of vibrant hot pink.
