This piece is created on a hand-built copper loom, wrapped in cotton to soften the metallic structure. At its center, a circular copper form – also wrapped in cotton – anchors the composition. The fiber-work primarily features traditional ghiordes knots, know for their rich texture and durability, interwoven with a subtle section of tabby weave for variation and balance.
